E3 Lithium is a resource development company located in Alberta, dedicated to establishing a new benchmark in lithium production in North America. Leveraging proven technology and supported by a leading team and strong global partners, E3 Lithium's goal is to produce high purity, battery grade, lithium products, initiating a new hub in the intercontinental critical mineral supply chain.
E3 Lithium's main development area is the Bashaw District which contains 16.2 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) measured and indicated mineral resource. The Bashaw District resources are contained within the Leduc reservoir, a well understood ancient reef complex that has exceptional flow rates and deliverability due to favourable rock properties and pressure. E3 Lithium’s Clearwater Project is Canada’s first lithium in-brine proven reserve with 1.29 Mt lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate (LHM) [1.13 Mt LCE] proven and probable mineral reserves. In its initial production phase, the Clearwater project is projected to produce approximately 32,250 tonnes per year, with potential to expand across the Bashaw District. As outlined in our Pre-Feasibility Study, E3 Lithium's goal is to design a process that enables sustainable production of lithium in Alberta by utilizing full water recycle, minimizing our footprint and the ability to implement CCUS to reduce our carbon emissions.
E3 Lithium will extract lithium from the Leduc brine using proven Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology. E3 Lithium’s Field Pilot Plant successfully demonstrated that DLE technology can rapidly and efficiently convert large volumes of low-grade brine into a high-grade lithium concentrate, removing almost all impurities. The successful pilot results allows us to scale up operations to commercial levels, ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality lithium to meet the growing demand from the electric vehicle and renewable energy sectors.
